Nestle India Enters into Partnership with Snapdeal to Resume Maggi Sales
There is a big smile?on the face of Maggi lovers as they are celebrating the return of popular “2-minute” snack Maggi. Nestle India has tied up with one of the famous online shopping?portal Snapdeal to relaunch the Maggi sales in the Indian market. Around five months after the FSSAI imposed a ban on its sale, which was complete a challenging period for the organization, but now there is a feeling of satisfaction at bringing back Maggi noodles.
Maggi noodles returned with the same bright yellow packaging and at a price of INR 12 for a single pack as it was before June 5 when the country’s food regulator ordered to ban on its sales.
Mr. Suresh Naryanan, the Chairman and Managing Director (MD) of Nestle India said,
“Maggi noodles has very special relationships and strong emotional bonds with its consumers across the country, and I am confident that our bonds will grow even stronger. On behalf of the over 7,000 Nestle India employees, I would like to thank all our suppliers, distributors, retailers, and millions of consumers for their support”.
After clearing all the tests by laboratories authorised by the Bombay High Court, the company has become a partner with Snapdeal, which has rolled out a special campaign with hashtag #SnapdealWelcomesMAGGI. During this campaign, the customers have to pre-register themselves for the flash sale of Welcome Back Maggi Kit. The product has the same masala taste, that the consumers have always enjoyed.
