Food and Cultural Festival 2015 Commencing from Today in Goa
This time, it’s Goa!! The grand Food and Cultural Fest 2015 is going to be conducted from today at your favourite destination Goa. This fest displaying Goa’s real food, along with showcasing of Goa’s mythology and a blast of cultural events. This festival is from April17 to 21, at Campal grounds, Panaji.
A meeting, which has been recently held by the tourism department and Goa tourism development corporation (GTDC), where they discussed on many aspects regarding this fest. The five-day event, that was started three years ago, has been dragging a numerous number of visitors to the state. It experience Goa’s cultural heritage and savour foods on a dish for tourists, who travel from far.
This year too, the authentic dishes in vegetarian and non-vegetarian segments, sweets and other delicacies with more than 70 stalls are available at this festival. Further on, the major fish curry with rice and many other Goan yummies are there in the event, that attract gourmands from all over the world.
During this five-day spectacular event, there would be live performances scheduled to keep the audience captivated. This live event is a mixture of local talent as well as popular national brands, such as Parikrama and Indus Creed. Sources unveiled about the performance of top Djs as all are expected in the fest.
It is expected that around 50,000 international and domestic tourists are coming to join this grand festival and one thing is important that, entry to the programs are free.
