Oppo Find X
The Oppo Find X is one of the most talkative smartphones of the year 2018. The company surprised everyone by offering advanced features in the Oppo Find X. The smartphone features a curved glass on the front and rear panel that has a metallic frame which looks premium in terms of appearance. The Find X being offered by Oppo is one of the premium smartphones of the year 2018. Interestingly, the company has eliminated the notch by offering a motorized slider camera on the top.

Vivo Nex
Vivo innovatively has eliminated the notch in its premium Nex smartphone and it is based on the APEX concept phone that was showcased at MWC 2018,. The Vivo Nex has been equipped with great features include motorized slider camera, under- display fingerprint scanner, full- screen display and more. The motorized slider camera is available on the top bezels and it pops- out when the camera app is in use and switches to the front camera. The camera activities are totally based on motorized system and Vivo said it can be used for up to 2 years. By offering the pop-up selfie snapper in the Vivo NEX the company has managed to offer full-screen display along with 86 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The company not only offers the pop-up selfie camera but also the under-display fingerprint scanner which provides sufficient space to add other components. Additionally, the company eliminated the earpiece with Screen SoundCasting technology which is based on bone conduction to transmit audio waves.

ZTE Nubia X
Nubia which is a sub-brand of ZTE somehow managed to offer flagship specifications in the Nubia X even without providing the notch on the top of the display. The Nubia X comes with a dual display which is the key highlights of the device – the first one is placed on the front panel and the other is placed on the rear side. Up front, there is a 6.26-inch full HD+ display along with a 19:9 aspect ratio and an edge-to-edge display even without the notch or front-facing camera. So the one question is arising in everyone mind where the front camera go? The ZTE Nubia X does not have any front-facing camera.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 3
Oppo and Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturers have offered motorized camera set up in its flagship smartphones while the Xiaomi has offered manual slider to conceal the front camera in the Mi Mix 3. On the front, it features a 6.39-inch full HD+ display or if you want to capture the selfies you have to slide the display panel downwards side. Interestingly, the smartphone comes with dual front camera sensors that consist of a 24MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. You get dual 12MP camera sensors on the rear panel.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro
Huawei Mate 20 Pro was initially showcased at the event conducted in Paris in the first half of 2018 and then introduced in the October 2018. The Mate 20 Pro was the Huawei first smartphone that gets triple camera sensors on the rear panel. The smartphone features triple rear cameras, but the monochrome sensor is being exchanged with a wide-angle lens. It has a notch on the top of the display as well as a dual edge curved display, Kirin 980 SoC that is based on 7nm processor.
However, these are the features that we have already seen on other smartphones as well. The Mate 20 Pro has been embedded with a 4,000 mAh battery with the support of wireless charging which is to be considered the key highlights of the device. ZTE Axon M
ZTE Axon M was initially showcased at MWC 2018 event and it comes under the category of the foldable smartphone. It gets foldable dual screen displays which seems to be the highlighting features of the device. When it is folded, the smartphone has dual displays on the front and back side, while when it is unfolded the device looks like a book – showing both of the screens side-by-side.
At the same time, you can work on both the screen or run individual apps or you can be shifted to a secondary display. For example, you are watching the movie on the one screen and you have opened the app drawer / Settings menu app on the second screen.
The quite interesting part is that there is an extended mode available on the ZTE Axon M wherein you can turn both screens into a single screen which provides you with the pleasure of tablet. Throughout 2018, we have seen various types of notches ranging from broad notches to water shaped-display notch. Samsung Galaxy Note 9
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is one of the flagship smartphones of the year 2018 as it comes with much-improved (Stylus) S Pen. Stylus always to be considered the heart of Galaxy Note series but this time company has offered Bluetooth connectivity options in it which allow users to operate the stylus like a remote control. Through S Pen, the users can change the slides of a PowerPoint presentation as well as allows click photos at a distance of up to 20-30 feet.
Interestingly, the S Pen comes with a tiny battery coupled with supercapacitor which is touted to charge the pen only in 40 seconds. When the S Pen gets charged fully on Bluetooth mode it can run for longer 30 minutes. The Huawei, OnePlus, Oppo, and Vivo smartphone manufacturers have offered fast charging technologies in its flagship smartphones but when supercapacitor would be available in these smartphones we assume that it charges a full battery within few minutes.
