Oaks Hotels & Resorts to Develop Oaks Bodhgaya in India
In the move to strengthen its empire across the world, the leading accommodation brand Oaks Hotels & Resorts , a division of Minor Hotel Group (MHG), today made an announcement to develop Oaks Bodhgaya in India. In collaboration with GP Group and Top Travel & Tours Limited, the deal stroke at AU$8.7 million. By the end of 2016, the erection would be done with its final touch as the building is under construction as of now. On the urge of growing the portfolio, this will be the ultimate add-on to the 138 keys to Oaks Hotels.
78 guest rooms including the selection of onsite facilities, with restaurant, conference precinct, terrace incorporating meditation space and landscaped gardens would be there in the first launch. The second phase, which is in the same under construction profile would include an additional 60 rooms.
Chief Operations Officer of Oaks Hotels & Resorts, Mr Mike Anderson, said,
“Following on from the Oaks Neemrana announcement in January and underpinned by Minor Hotel Group’s global expansion strategy, we are delighted to reveal that we will be introducing the Oaks Hotels & Resorts brand into India earlier than first anticipated with the launch of Oaks Bodhgaya later this year.
“India has immense tourism growth potential and we look forward to having a strong presence in both Neemrana, Rajasthan and Bodhgaya, Bihar once both properties open their doors over the next two years.”
