The Um Global motorcycle is the newly bike manufacturing company in the Indian auto market that launched three new models at the Delhi Auto Expo, 2016. One of them is UM Renegade Classic 300, coming at low price tag. This bike is added new technology, higher safety features and cruiser design format for attracting the buyers.

While the Indian bike makers also not so down as they continuously update their portfolio. It is a well known fact that the Bajaj keeps working on their product after launching, firm has released a revised version of the Avenger bikes that is Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220. Its small capacity cruiser styling and easy riding position are the key reasons behind its success. The company said that, the looks of the Avenger has not changed much more. Now there is a debate between the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 200 and Um Renegade Classic 300 to find out the real cruiser.
Design and Style
The UM Global is targeting buyers to offer small displacement cruiser, UM Renegade Classic 300. It is stylish cruiser bike and comfortable for the long ride. It also gets the split seat to appeal more stylish look. The fuel tank is high on style and attractive in shape and design. It is also featured with the wide handlebar that gives comfortable sitting position to the riders. The strong point of the classic 300 is all black theme and matt finish that attracts a lot of eye-balls of audience.
In terms of design and style, the Bajaj Avenger 220 cruise comes with a round headlight, clear lens indicators and fresher graphic design along with a 3D Avenger logo that give a stunning look to the bike. The Avenger 220 is featured with low slung seat and a flatter handlebar that feel to the rider comfortable riding on the any kind of terrains. The exhaust of the bike is all new and sports a round look.

Power and Performance
If we talk about the power and performance, The Renegade Classic 300 is powered by a 279.5 cc Single-Cylinder, Spark Ignition engine that produces a maximum power of 24.5 Bhp at 8500 RPM and a peak torque of 21.8 Nm at 7000 RPM. The Water cooled system gives the better performance. The mill is paired to a 6 Speed transmission that transfers total power to the rear tyre.
On the other hand the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is delivered the power by a 220cc, Twin Spark, 2 valves, oil cooled and DTS-i engine. The 220cc motor delivers a maximum power of 19.3 bhp at 8400 rpm and 17.5Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The motor is mated to a 5-speed transmission.
Instrument Cluster
The Um Renegade is adopted with digital-analog instrument cluster panel that provides the information as speedometer, trip meter, fuel gauge with the electric starter system.
The Avenger Cruise 220 is equipped with a digital instrument cluster that carries a host of info as speedometer, trip meter, odometer, fuel gauge and low battery indicator. The Four tell tale light(indicator, high beam, natural and low battery warning) are on the fuel tank.
Dimensions and Ergonomics
Both the motorcycles have dynamic ergonomics and excellent low ground clearance that make the ride quality in very comfortable and difficulty-free. The Renegade classic has a kerb weight of 175 Kg and 17 liters fuel tank capacity. The dimension of the bike is overall length 2223mm, width 883mm, height 1050mm and wheelbase 1518mm.
The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 has a kerb weight of 155kg and the fuel capacity of 14 liters. The dimension of the bike measures an overall length of 2177mm, width of 806mm and the height of 1142mm with the ground clearance of 169mm.
Safety Components
The necessary factor for the rider is safety on the track, both the cruiser motorcycles are featured strong braking system and suspension. The UM Renegade gets telescopic suspension at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. While the stopping power comes from courtesy of a front 280mm disc brake and a drum brake unit serves the purpose at the rear.
The Avenger Cruise 220 is incorporated with a telescopic with anti friction bush suspension at the front and the twin shock absorber at the rear. The braking duties are performed by the 260mm disc at the front and 130mm drum at the rear.

The style, looks and cruising ability of both the bikes are magnificent. The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 has been price at INR 87,331 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). It comes with two colour, Divine Black and Golden Beige. It gives decent mileage of the 40 KMPL. While, the Renegade Classic 300 is available in Maroon colour at the price of INR 1,69,000 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It Gives the 40 KMPL mileage on the highway.
