The TVS motor company will bring one more racing machine in the market for the sports lovers, named TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. The Apache is a big series by the TVS in our country, so no more need to define this product . On the other hand, the Bajaj Pulsar series also no needs for introduction, it’s one of the most popular bike models to have ever gone on sale in India. The latest iteration of the Pulsar, the 200 NS is a massive leap for Bajaj auto. But this leap doesn’t come so easily. The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS inherits many parts and styling from other sports bikes in the market. Both the Apache 200 and Pulsar 200NS are very similar machines, both bikes are naked street-fighters using similar engines and offering a good racing style on the road.

Design and Style:-

In the Apache 200 design point of views, many important new features added to the motorcycle. The Muscular fuel tank, angular headlamp and bikini fairing along LED DRLs looks great and stylish spilte seat, these features make it attractive. It gives look like as the Yamaha R15. The alloy wheel design has been carried from the Draken concept. The exhaust would be full length with twin pipe design at the end. The pillion grab rails are also the exact opposite of what we normally see in current age bikes.

Instrument Cluster:-

The latest information about the Apache 200 reveals its instrument console as a fully digital single screen unit with the tachometer and speedometer in the center. Left space displays clock and current gear position indicator, service reminder, gear shift indicator and below the speedometer is the fuel gauge indicator.

While, the pulsar 200NS gets an all new instrument cluster, which is extremely easy to read, the analog tachometer takes center stage while the digital speedometer is positioned on the right and carries quite a bit vital information.

Power and Performance:-

The TVS Apache 200 4V is powered by 197.75cc single cylinder, four valve, air cooled engine that is mated to five-speed gearbox. The maximum power of 20.23 BHP @ 8500 RPM and a peak torque of 18.2 Nm @ 7000 RPM. The bike is featured with a little bit components such as pass light, pillion footrest, Engine kill switch, stand alarm and electric starter system.

The Bajaj Pulsar 200NS gets the power from a 199.5cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine with identical bore and stroke. The pulsar 200NS employs triple spark plugs, SOHC and carburetor that develops 23.2 BHP power at 9500 RPM and 18.3 Nm of torque at 8000 RPM is mated to the six speed transmission that transfers total power to the rear wheel.

Riding and Handling:-

TVS Apache 200 will be arriving with upright seating posture with flat handlebar and center placed foot pegs that offer a comfortable ride with a slight sporty touch. The flat handlebar and inverted telescopic fork suspension offer excellent handling in the city traffic to the rider. The bike rides on a pair of premium Angel_GT sports tires. These rubber shoes are claimed the highest mileage in the sport touring tyres.

Both the motorcycles are fully loaded with standard safety components for rider’s safety. First we will talking about the Apache 200, it comes with 270mm Petal Disc with RLP in the front that provides strong and precise braking While the rear has 200mm Petal Disc with RLP for accurate braking on Indian roads.

While Pulsar 200NS uses both end 280mm disc braking systems. The stopping responsibility is managed by disc brakes at both wheels. Anti-Lock Braking System is not available in pulsar 200NS the motorcycles.

While Bajaj Pulsar 200NS comes in four shades- Black White, Black Red, Black Blue and Black that is available in the domestic market for Rs 91,553. The Mileage of the motorcycle is 40KMPL on highway. Likely, the Apache 200 will more expensive than the Pulsar 200NS.
