Auto Shows are the platform where various automakers from around the world unveil their latest and upcoming cars and concepts. And, at recently concluded New York Auto Show 2015, there were many new cars in each segment for growing Indian market and other countries as well. Here we’re presenting top 5 cars coming to India from the 2015 New York Motor Show:
New Jaguar XF
Jaguar, the British luxury automaker is producing their cars with attractive finish and precious interiors that attracts auto lovers towards its runabouts. The company has launched India bound XF sedan to the 2015 New York Show that is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo and 3.0-litre V6 twin turbo mill generating power of 160 hp and 300 hp, respectively. The car also runs on a 2.0-litre and 3.0-litre supercharged petrol engine mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox, while high end variants will have an option of 8-speed automatic transmission system.
Coming to the interiors, the new Jaguar XF integrated with 10.2-inch smart infotainment system, multifunctional steering wheel and safety features like Cruise control system, autonomous barking system for emergency and many more.
New Mitsubishi Outlander
Mitsubishi re-launched the Outlander SUV in India with a 2.2-litre powertrain producing quite efficient power of 148 bhp. The car is completely different from its previous model having front and rear chrome slats, skid guard at side profile, stylish alloy wheels, combined tail-lamps and many others. Interior of the cars furnished with comfortable leather seats with armrests, steering wheel mounted with feature buttons along with other luxurious features.
New Audi TT
Audi India set to launch the next generation TT roadster on April 23, 2015 for the expected price of INR 60-70 Lac ex-showroom. The sports coupe will run on a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine delivering stunning power of 230 bhp and 370 Nm torque. The power transmitted automatically through a 6-speed twin clutch to its all wheels. The new TT is based on all latest technologies and safety features that are making the drive comfortable, easier and safer.
Volvo XC90 Hybrid
In the Indian luxury cars, Volvo has registered a 7 seater XC90 SUV that is powered by a 2.0-litre Drive-E petrol mill and an electric motor producing power of 318 hp and 82 hp, respectively via an 8-speed automatic gearbox to its all wheels. This hybrid SUV has comfortable interiors including a touchscreen, voice control system and safety features.
New Mercedes-Benz GLE
Mercedes-Benz is producing affordable luxury vehicles for Indian people, launched new GLE SUV with some tweak in interiors, exteriors and powertrain as well. The car has headlamps with DRLs, re-engineered bonnet, LED tail-lamps, rear parking sensors and many other luxury features. Mechanically, the GLE250d runs on 2.0-litre diesel engine and GLE350d runs on a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine claimed to deliver power of 201 hp and 254 hp, respectively, while the GLE500e hybrid variant gets its power of 328 hp from a 3.0-litre twin turbocharged engine.
