The company this month even performed better than the festive month of October in the country. The company made an overall sales of 18,854 units in the month of October 2016. Looks like Alto is playing well in this hatchback car segment and has been a successful player to fulfill the expectations of the company.
Maruti Swift DZire
Sitting on the second place is again Maruti Suzuki with its Swift DZire. The people across the country seems to be very happy with this budget friendly sedan of the company. Maruti sold 17,218 units of Swift DZire in the month of November 2016, which is a bit lower compared to its sales at the same time last year, which was 18,826. As we can see that the sales have been decreased as compared to the last year figures, but still the model made a fair sales compared to October 2016 sales, in which Maruti sold 17682 units. DZire seems to be very admirable by the people of India, as this sub-compact sedan of the company offers premium design and features at a budget price.
Maruti Wagon R
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R with its consistent performance is holding the third place in the list. The company sold 15,566 units of the model in November 2016, which is improvised as compared to the same time last year, when the company sold 13,986 units of the model. The consistency of the car can be seen as its sale figures in October, which were 15,075 units. The hatchback also have beaten its October festive season sales of 10,718 units. Hyundai Grand i10

Hyundai sold 11,059 units of the model in the month of November 2016, which is a bit less compared to its sales in November 2015 of 12,899 units. The November sales of the company is also very less as compared to its October sales of 14,530 units this year. The company sold 7,847 units of the model in the month of November 2016, which was a bit less as compared to its sales in October 2016 of 9,801 units. The sales chart of the hatchback model of the company is decreasing day by day, as the company made a sale of 10,550 units of the model in the month of September 2016, but still the hatchback this month has managed to grab eighth position in the list of best-selling cars of November 2016 for the company.
Hyundai Elite i20
Hyundai again is sitting at the ninth place in the list with its Elite i20 hatchback. The company has managed to sell 7,601 units of the hatchback, which is a bit less as compared to the sales at the same time last year, which was 8,264 units in November 2015. The sales in the month of November this year is also very less than Hyundai made in October, which is 11,532 units. Though the sales of the hatchback is decreasing rapidly, it has currently maintained to grab ninth position for the company in the list.
Tata Tiago
Tata is sitting in the last with the debut of its Tiago in the list of best selling cars of November 2016. The company sold 6,008 units of the model in the month of November 2016, moreover, Tiago made a contribution of 47 percent of overall sales of the company.
