Taj Hotel to Host the Reception Ceremony of Harbhajan Singh (Bhajji)
After the much talked about wedding ceremony of Shahid Kapoor, another big fat Punjabi wedding is going to take place soon. Yes, we are talking about the team India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, popularly known as “Bhajji” is all set to marry his girlfriend of many years Geeta Basra, a Bollywood actress, who has given a number of hit movies.
The wedding ceremony will be held on 29th October 2015 at his hometown Jalandhar, Punjab with lavish celebrations. And after that, the reception will be there on November 1 at Taj Hotel, New Delhi– one of the prominent five-star hotels of India, which is well-known for its opulent services and facilities.
The reception is likely to be attended by many Harbhajan’s cricketing friends Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli, Ashish Nehra, RP Singh, among others along with Bollywood celebrities, such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Priyanka Chopra. As per the reports, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sachin Tendulkar are expected to attend the ceremony.
The complete celebration is of 5 days, including the likes of “Mehandi”, “Sangeet” and many more. Now, throwing light on the delicacies, chefs from France, Germany, and the UK will prepare the delectable dishes for the guests and more than 150 delicacies, including Punjabi food, were served during the “Sangeet” ceremony.
The dessert items Kaju Barfi, Badam Barfi, Shahi Dry Fruit Chikki, Anjeer Barfi, Ladoo, Chana Barfi, Shahi Badam Pinni, Shahi Madhupak, Super Soft Milk Cake and Shahi Patisa will be served by Jalandhar-based Lovely Sweets on the wedding ceremony.
