Starwood to Open Next Hotel Branded as Le Meridian in Mahabaleshwar
One of the largest group chains of hospitality and services, Starwood Hotels & Resorts signed the contract with BrahmaCorp (Pune-based real estate developer) for opening a five-star hotel branded as a Le Meridian in Mahabaleshwar, Pune. The infrastructure and decor of the hotels are handovered to the BrahmaCorp with an investment around INR 150 crore. At present, the brand is present in Jaipur, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Pune, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kochi and Delhi.
The BrahmaCorp Group is one of the leading business groups, headquartered in Pune. It is the one, who brought the first hotel branded as Le Meridian in Pune and this one is the ninth property, which likely to be fully operated in the next month. The BrahmaCorp group has invested around INR 1-1.2 crore per room in the hotel. Many Starwood properties owned by it and Westin Hotel, which is an another property of Starwood has been constructed by it and is expected to start in the next three months.
As we all know that Mahabaleshwar is the most famous leisure spot for both the international and national tourists. So, it has become a golden opportunity for the group to open the five-star hotel there, which will entice the people with very high demand. And, also it will increase the position of the group in the market.
