Review of Madras Cafe and Planes
After a long time we are having good movies to enjoy our weekend with. Madras cafe has a good opening of Rs. 5-6 Cr. And at the same time, kids are also having another movie from the house of Disney i.e. Planes.
Madras Cafe
Madras Cafe reveals the story of 80’s during the war against Sri Lanka. It’s not just a movie, it takes you back in that era and don’t allow you to leave your seat for a while. Film starts with a flash back when our hulk (John) visits the church and recalls about his past life.
As you all know (from trailers) John (Vikram) is playing the role of Military Officer, who was ordered to carry out the operation in Sri Lanka against Anna Bhaskaran. During his operation he meets Nargis (Jaya). She is a British War Correspondence. Now you think, love chemistry starts but wait it’s not a love story.
Kidnapping, murders and with more Khoon Kharaba, the movie goes on but director still manages to show the real phase of married life of the army officer. The war goes on and its end with a question who has won the war, it’s not an answerable question and director leaves that on audience with the ending song Maula Sun Le Re.
Planes 3D
This time flying Planes instead of fast wroooming cars. Another animated movie from the house of Disney production. If you have seen the Cars, then maybe you gonna like it, as it is a bit same on the theme.
Movie is about the sweet, cutiest planes, who have big lovely eyes with different accents. They compete with each other to win the title of Wings around the Web. Dusty is a little crop dusting plane who has many dreams in his eyes with kind heart. But he is not born for racing, also he is afraid of heights. But his mentor encourages him and fortunately he qualifies the first round. After that Skipper, who is the former Navy Jet fighter, trained him and the real fun begins.
Dusty is on the way to heights, which is supported by his old and new friends. Did he win or loss??? Discover it, but whatever the result is, you came out with a smile on our face. After all it’s Dusty which doesn’t go rusty……
