Employees’ State Insurance is a health insurance and self financing social security project for Indian employees. In this, employees earning wages less than Rs. 15,000 contribute 1.75% and the employer contributes 4.75% becoming a total of 6.5% of share for these services. The fund collected for the same by ESIC is used for medical and cash benefits to the employees and their family by company’s large setup of hospitals, branch offices etc.it comes under Ministry of Labour and Employment.

ESIC has announced vacancies for the post of associate professor and assistant professor. They have 80 and 128 vacant posts respectively for these jobs. The pay scale for both the posts lies between Rs. 15600 – 39100/-. Candidates with a recognized medical qualification in the first or second schedule and Masters degree or Doctorate degree can apply for this job.
