Serves: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 200 gm cubed Paneer
- 1 large Onion (peeled and cubed)
- 1 large Capsicum (cubed)
- 6 cloves of Garlic (finely chopped)
- 2 cm piece of Ginger (finely chopped)
- 3 Green Chilli (chopped diagonally)
- Salt according to taste
- 1 tsp of Sugar
- A pinch of Ajinomoto (a type of salt)
- 2 tbsp of Tomato Ketchup
- 1 tbsp of Red Chilli Sauce
- 1 tbsp of Green Chilli Sauce
- 2 tsp of Soya Sauce
- 1 tsp of Vinegar (circa)
- 1 tbsp of Chilli Powder
- Spring Onion (finely chopped)
Ingredients for frying
- 3 tbsp of All Purpose Flour (maida)
- 6 tbsp of Corn Flour
- Salt according to taste
- ½ tsp of Sugar
- 2 tsp of Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp of Soya Sauce
- Water as required
- 4 tbsp of Oil (for frying)
Procedure
- Heat the oil in a pan and add all the ingredients that are used for frying in a bowl.
- Add the water in a bowl and make it to the slightly thin batter.
- Now, dip the Paneer in the batter and carefully drop them into the pan.
- Fry the Paneer cubes, till they turn to golden. Transfer them to a plate.
- Take another bowl and all the sauces in it. Keep it aside for sometime.
- Again heat the remaining oil in the pan and add ginger, garlic and chillies in it. Fry quickly for a minute.
- Now, add onions, capsicum and again fry them quickly for next 2 minutes.
- After that, add sugar, salt and stir well. Add chilli powder, sauces and again mix properly. Keep cooking continuously over a medium flame.
- Now, add those fried paneer cubes in the mixture and toss them.
- Finally, add spring onions and mix well.
- Dry Chilli Paneer is ready, serve it with noodles or fried rice.
