PayPal Joins Hands with OYO Rooms for International Hotel Bookings
Hotel aggregator company, OYO Rooms has aired a partnership with digital payments company PayPal for international hotel bookings. Through this tie-up, customers can easily make hotel bookings on OYO Rooms for an abroad trip with their family and also pay via PayPal. Along with this, the company also provide Seller Protections feature to safeguard hotels from unauthorized transactions.
PayPal Asia-Pacific (APAC) Regional Merchant Services Vice President, Mr. Hamish Moline stated,
“Growth of new age businesses like OYO Rooms can be further accelerated if they are protected against online payment risks and frauds. PayPal’s technology protects merchants such as OYO Rooms against unauthorized transactions and mitigates associated risks”.
The OYO Rooms’s customers will be able to pay for the bookings in Malaysia and other South East Asian countries with PayPal. Mr. Abhinav Sinha, COO of OYO Rooms said,
“This tie-up with PayPal will assist us in delivering a seamless payment experience through reduced friction during the payment process. PayPal is a global leader in payments and we look forward to their network supporting our growth”.
