Concerning new popularity of the Indian automobile sector, the manufacturers are also planning to put new launches accordingly. Volkswagen Polo GTI
The sixth generation Volkswagen Polo GTI packs in more power and greater efficiency with an all-new 2.0L Turbo petrol engine. It will churn out 200hp at 320 Nm of torque. Transmission duties on the new addition to the Volkswagen family will rest on a 7-speed dual-clutch auto ‘box. In all likelihood we expect the German automaker to ship the hatchback as CBU unit and this most shot the price tag up by some factor.

TATA 45X
The Tata will compete the Rivas- Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20 and Suzuki Baleno with Tata 45X which will be launched at the end of 2019. In earlier 2018, the model was previewed in concept form at the 2018 Auto Expo. This new hatchback contains Tata’s new Impact Design 2.0 styling language and all the images captured while testing discloses a well balanced and confident shape. Internally, the 45X is believed to be practical and roomy and it will contain a free-standing touchscreen infotainment screen which also doubles as a display for the reverse camera. Tata might also introduce a dual-clutch automatic gearbox on the new 45X.

New Maruti Wagon R
The India-spec Wagon R is updated in features. It will come to India via a CBU route but it exists in registration at Maruti Suzuki’s head office. The next-gen hatchback is expected to take the lighter weight and an advanced Heartect platform.
Seeing at the headlights and tall-boy appearance of the car, styling wise it attracts a lot. The new updated Wagon R looks more modern in a new phase. The hatchback is expected to launch near festive season later this year.

Hyundai Grand i10 (AI3)
Fresh from the launch of the Santro AMT, Hyundai would be more than happy if its next hatchback is received with the same euphoria and awe. The all-new Hyundai Grand i10 has been spied during test runs on more than a few occasions. The global sales figures for the current trim has been a shadow of the domestic figures. But this will not deter the South Korean automaker from as Global launch which we expect to happen sometime later next year.
In terms of looks, Hyundai’s all-new Grand i10 will in all likelihood take cues from the upcoming Hyundai Elantra facelift. This will include an all-new hexagonal front grille with wider headlamps and tail-lamps. Hyundai may, however, introduce only one version of the next-gen Hyundai to its global audience. The Indian audience though will delight in Hyundai’s true value for money product philosophy. We Expect a budget price tag and a host of exciting features on the Indian trim which will be offered in two engine options i.e 1.2L Petrol and 1.1L Diesel.

Mercedes Benz A Class
The entry-level MERCEDES-BENZ trim gets a makeover next year. The all-new A-Class boasts of a modified MFA platform and a longer wheelbase (about 30mm longer). This means that the
MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS gets bigger and stronger. In addition to this expect a host of new improvements in overall design, performance, and comfort. The cabin on the luxury hatchback gets widescreen cockpit display with dual 10.3-inch screens featuring digital instrumentation and touchscreen infotainment. Under the hood, the mill will be offered in two engine options namely 2.2-liter diesel and a 1.6-liter petrol engine churning 136PS/300Nm and 122PS/200Nm, respectively. Transmission duties on both trims rest on 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.

Maruti Micro SUV
The Maruti Future S micro-SUV was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo will undergo production in 2019. The length and wheelbase of the Future S are similar to Ignis and it will intentionally take advantage of the tax benefits which will be offered to small cars. The Maruti Future S micro-SUV is featured with an upright stance, a vertical A-pillar and a high seating position. It will also contain high-mounted lights, big wheel arches and well-defined haunches. The new small compact SUV will be built on Suzuki’s lightweight Heartect platform and will mostly offer 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine at launch.

Ford Figo Facelift
