Learn Indian Cuisine at the Upcoming Hannover Messe 2015
Are you interested in learning Indian cuisine? If yes, then come and join Hannover Messe 2015, which will be held in Germany from April 13 to 17. Here, distinct experiences of India will be provided through the astonishing cooking method at this great event. India is the partner country of this event, which is the world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology in Germany.
Our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will inaugurate together this trade fair on April 13. An Experience India Society statement said,
“Themed around ‘Make in India’, the occasion will afford foreign investors and visitors a chance to savour delicious Indian cuisine by 40 renowned chefs from six leading hotel chains- Oberoi Group, ITC Hotels, Taj Group, Leela Hotels, Hyatt Hotels and Marriott”.
The menu list is based on Prithvi-Rasa will be available in the cuisine of India. Prithvi-Rasa, basically refers to the earth and taste respectively. The combination of different five elements of nature- Air, Fire, Water, Earth and Space, which cause the formation of six flavours are madhura (sweet), lavana (salty), amla (sour), tikta (bitter), katu (pungent) and kashaya (astringent).
As it is believed that a complete meal should contain all these six flavours. Mr. Sushil Gupta stated that,
“This will further provide impetus to our efforts of promoting India as a unique tourist destination”.
Mr. Gautam Anand, a Member of the Society’s advisory board said,
“This event will be one-of-its-kind occasion which will witness the expertise of renowned chefs from not only one but six hotel chains to popularise Indian cuisine. The menu is specially crafted to reflect vital expression of India’s culture”.
The Experience India Society is taking charge of the major hotel chains and tour operators to support India for further progress through a public-private partnership with the tourism ministry.
