James Bond and His Fleet of Cars
I know there are many fans out for the Bond movies and moreover for the Bond Girls and Cars. Well, why they shouldn’t as both girls and cars are stylish, gorgeous and adorable of course. Since the first Bond movies released in 1933, there have been many cars featured in them and here we’re giving detail of every Bond cars used till now:
Bentley 3.5 Litre
Bentley has been very famous in the Bond movies and this particular Bentley 3.5 Litre drophead car was used in the movie From Russia with Love.
Bentley 4.5 Litre
This Bentley car has been one of the best racing car built by the company and has been uses in many movies like Casino Royale, Live and Let Die and Moonraker.
Bentley Mark VI
The British spy James Bond or better known as 007 buys this Bentley Mark VI car in the end of movie Moonraker in grey and dark blue leather upholstery.
Bentley Mark II Continental
This power Bentley Mark II Continental is used by the Bond in Thunderball and he upgrades the engine to 4.9 Litre from 4.5 Litre. It’s grey in color and the interior is black with Arnott supercharger used in it. The car was last seen in the movie On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
Aston Martin DB5
Everyone knows that Aston Martin cars are better known as Bond cars and this DB5 is the most popular bond car of all time. It has been used in many movies like Goldfinger, Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royale and in Skyfall. The car has everything which Bond needs like machine guns, smoke screen, bulletproof front and rear panels, passenger ejector seats and others as well.
Aston Martin DBS
This car was only featured in the 4 scenes of the movie On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and the only notable thing was the abode for sniper rifle in the glovebox.
Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante
The features in the movie The Living Daylights as a convertible one and has a hardtop for the winters. It has all the bond necessities covered with spiked tires, side skis, rocket propulsion and self-destruct mechanism as well.
Aston Martin V12 Vanquish
One of the most famous car ever used in the Bond movies is this Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, which is often regarded as Vanish as it becomes invisible to the naked eyes.
Aston Martin DBS V12
The very new James Bond aka Daniel Craig uses this DBS V12 is his movies Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. However, this car has no gadgets, but some medical equipments to make the Bond re-live in one of the movie scenes.
Aston Martin DB10
This is the most recent Bond car and all of its features like what it has for Bond are still under wraps. It’ll be used in the upcoming Bond movie SPECTRE, which is due for release in November, 2015.
Lotus Turbo Esprit
The For Your Eyes Only featured Bond car was very similar to the Lotus S1, but didn’t ave any under water capabilities. Although the car possess top of the security system which helps it to self-destruct while the villain’s henchman tries to enter into it.
Lotus Esprit S1
This car was used in the movie The Spy Who Loved Me and refereed as Wet Nellie. It was armed extensively with missiles, cement cannons, mines, black dye and torpedoes at front grille.
BMW 750iL
It car was controlled by Bond’s cell phone in Germany in the movie Tomorrow Never Dies. It comes equipped with cable cutting device, rocket launches, re-inflating tires, fingerprint protected safe, and advance security system as well.
BMW Z3
Regarded as the first BMW car ever used in a Bond movie didn’t go well with many fans as they were not thrilled with the idea of using a non-British car for the Bond. However, it was a convertible with stinger missiles and all the regular stuff with self destruct system too.
BMW Z8
The World Is Not Enough was the movie this BMW Z8 used in and was equipped with all the required equipments. However, the car was cut into two the helicopter with brush cutter and Q was very upset with it for the first and only time.
