The world famous organization ISKCON will soon introduce an eatery to its temple- “ Bihar Ka Gaurav” in Patna, Bihar. So from now, the devotees or even others can enjoy a wide range of “Prasad” from traditional Indian sweets to Italian pizza?at the Govinda’s restaurant. This multi-storied building?will offer not only the temple and the restaurant, but also an auditorium, which can accommodate at least 1000 people at a time.

Mr. Krishna Kripa Das, president of the ISKCON- Bihar stated,

“The temple has been named “Bihar Ka Gaurav” as it will have the best of everything and also portray the life of Lord Krishna in different incarnations through a sound and light system”.

He also commented,

“Everything served at the restaurant will be first offered to Lord Krishna and then served to visitors. Therefore, it’s a “Prasad”, not an ordinary meal”.

Govinda’s restaurant will serve North Indian, Italian, Continental, South Indian and other varieties of food. Irrespective of the category, all the food items are pure vegetarian and devoid of onion and garlic. Special delicacies will also be offered, which is prepared with milk?from Hare Krishna Goshala and it’s sure that these dishes will be the main attraction for each and every visitor.

A guesthouse with 60 modern rooms will also be established, but that will be allotted only to the ISKCON members on demand.
