Hyatt Eyeing to Stretch its Upscale Brand to Tier II and III Cities
Earlier this month, global hospitality company Hyatt has established one more hotel under its upscale brand, Hyatt Place at Goa. And, now aiming to expand it to tier II and III cities across India. At present, there are 241 Hyatt Place hotels are located in different countries, such as China, US, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Morocco, Puerto Rico, The Netherlands and UAE.
Mr. Sanjay Patti, General Manager (GM) of Hyatt Place, Goa/Candolim stated,
“We recently opened a Hyatt Place in Goa. As of now, we have four Hyatt place hotels in India, no new ones have been announced yet. However, for expansion, Hyatt place is mainly targeted at tier II and III cities pan India”.
The group’s subsidiaries develop, own, operate, manage and franchise hotels, resorts, branded residences and vacation ownership properties.
He added,
“We are a four-star, select service hotel, a young, vibrant brand with a business casual environment without frills. We do not have multiple restaurants, a concierge desk and spa, but we have the basic amenities that a five-star has to offer”.
Hyatt brands include Grand Hyatt, Andaz, Hyatt, Park Hyatt, Hyatt Place, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Zilara, Hyatt House, Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Residence Club and Hyatt Residences across six continents.
