FSSAI Calls for Comments on Standards for Alcoholic Beverages
The food regulator of the country FSSAI has appealed for the suggestions and comments from the stakeholders on the given standards for the cocktails, including brandy and beer in the next two months.
The organization has circulated a notice to all the stakeholders, who invest in this business to provide all the claims, views, suggestions and comments within 60 days.
This notice has issued for both distilled and non-distilled alcoholic standards. In the starting of this year, a meeting of the Central Advisory Committee had also discussed the standards for alcoholic beverages and decided that once all the standards were finalized, then it will be aired in all the states and UT’s so that they may be suitably advised to all the respective excise departments.
