Akshaya Patra Feed Program

Now its aim is to end hunger in India in a creative way. Lauren and a New York based designer have designed bags for raising funds to provide meals to children. The bags were launched at Bloomingdale in NYC this week featuring different designs made by artisans in India. With every purchase of the FEED Rachel Roy Bag, you feed one hundred meals to children. This creative initiative is collaboration with an NGO, Akshaya Patra.

This Feed project is work with the United Nations World Food Programme’s school Feeding Programme and it is estimated that by FEED programme there has been $6 million dollar donated and 600 million children get food all over the world.
