Ingredients for Paneer Toasty
- 4-6 paneer slices
- 2 tsp tamarind juice
- 1 tsp sweet chili sauce
- 2 tsp mint sauce
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 4 slices bread
- 10-20 gm butter
- 1 onion (cut into thin strips)
- 1 tomato (sliced)
- Salt according to taste
- 2-3 Kashmiri chilies
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp refined oil
Ingredients for Salsa
- 1 tomato
- 1 spring onion (finely chopped)
- 1/4 capsicum (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp sweet corn
- 1 green chili
- 2 tbsp Indian mustard sauce
- Fresh coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 lime 2 tbsp raisins
Directions for Paneer Toasty
- Add sweet chili sauce, tamarind extract, mint sauce and chaat masala in a medium sized bowl.
- Mix all the ingredients properly.
- Now, spread the butter over bread for toasting
- Put thin strips of onion, sliced tomatoes and salt in the bread.
- Dip the piece of a Paneer in a mixture and place it on the bread.
- Add Kashmiri chilies and few fried garlic cloves in the bread.
- Cover the bread with another bread and apply the oil on the toaster to prevent from sticking.
- Finally, toast the bread from both the sides. Paneer Toasty is ready to serve.
Directions for Salsa
- Add tomato, spring onions, capsicum, sweet corn, green chili, salt, Indian mustard sauce, fresh coriander leaves, tomato ketchup, lime juice and a few raisins in a dressing bowl.
- Mix them all together properly and your Salsa for the Paneer Tosty is ready to eat.
