The group is also aiming to expand the brand to 2nd and 3rd tier cities as well as abroad.
Mr. Farhat Jamal, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces Senior Vice President-Operations (West India) and Africa said,
“We are happy to bring the Taj brand of hospitality to a second location in Pune. It is the full service upscale brand of the group. We are excited to be present in new emerging locations like Hinjawadi.”
The contract has been signed between Taj Group and Paranjape Schemes (Construction) Ltd for eight years that can be extended further. The hotel features 150 rooms, including 6 suites. There is no doubt that Pune is counted among one of the IT hubs in India, so this hotel is an ideal option for the business travelers as well as guests looking for the successful conference.
