American Hospitality Chain Hyatt Establishes Hyatt Place in Goa
The U.S.A. based hotel chain, Hyatt has added one more flagship property to its existing brand in India named as, Hyatt Place Goa. After Hyatt Place, Hampi, Karnataka, Hyatt Place, Hinjwadi, Pune and Hyatt Place, Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon, this will be the fourth hotel in India. The hotel offers intuitive design, casual atmosphere and practical amenities to the city area. The new Hyatt Place is situated in north Goa and is very much near to the state’s beaches, including Candolim, Calangute and Fort Aguada.
Mr. Kurt Straub, Hyatt’s vice president of operations, India stated,
“The opening of Hyatt Place Goa/Candolim is a significant milestone for the Hyatt Place brand as it continues to expand in India and across the globe”. He further commented, “Goa’s first Hyatt Place hotel will be a vibrant and dynamic hotel that combines comfort and style that fits right into the region’s holiday capital”.
Moving to its features, the brand will offer 147-rooms with three food and beverage outlets along with meeting spaces. Mr. Sanjay Patti, the General manager (GM) of Hyatt Place Goa said,
“The Hyatt Place brand is designed to offer seamless experiences suitable for both business and leisure travelers”.
Currently, 3 brands are operating in the country- Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Place under Hyatt. With increasing demand of budget rooms, hotel chains, such as Starwood, Accor Hotels, Hyatt, and Marriott are actively growing their mid-market portfolio in India.
