Airbnb Introduces New Floating Apartment on Great Barrier Reef
For all the snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiasts around the globe, Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is now giving you the opportunity to live your dream. Airbnb has introduced a new floating restaurant over the world’s largest coral reef and giving the guests a chance for a free night stays in the apartment.
The lucky winner is allowed to take three guests with him/her and witness the unimaginable view of the Coral Sea. The apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a sitting area furnished with a sofa set, says the Airbnb listing page.
Naturally, these all the secondary features, the real attraction is the epic underwater diving, which contains 1625 different types of fishes, 133 heterogeneity of sharks and over 30 whales and dolphin species. Coming over to the package, there’s a diving session that the studio will host. Apart from this, it includes fully inclusive meals as well. However, Airbnb has imparted certain conditions in the package, which clears that it is not a free reign. They are- no clownfish jokes are allowed, spot all 13 resident sea turtles, and barking at the seals isn’t allowed.
The contest would clash with the release date of the new Disney Pixar film- Finding Dory. Submissions have been initiated from June 9 at 5pm Australian Eastern Standard Time and are going to be accepted until June 30 at 11:59pm Australian Standard Time.
