Steel Authority of India Limited has released 550 vacancies for the post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) and Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee). The pay scale for these jobs is upto Rs. 13,150. The qualifications needed for the jobs are matric with 3 years diploma or degree and matric with ITI respectively. The application fees are different for both the posts and decided as per general and reserved category. Eligible candidates can submit their fees through SBI challan by applying online on company website on or before 14/11/2013.



Post Name – Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee)

• Pay Scale – Rs. 9160 – 13150/- with Grade S-3
• Age Limit – 18-28 years

Application Fee – Rs. 250/- for Gen/OBC candidates and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST candidates. Candidates can submit application fee through challan slip in SBI.


Educational Qualification – Matriculation with 3 years full time Diploma or Degree from a recognized university.

Post Name – Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee)

• No. of Posts – 286
• Pay Scale – Rs. 8630 – 12080/- with Grade S-1
• Age Limit – 18-28 years

Application Fee – Rs. 150/- for Gen/OBC candidates and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST candidates. Candidates can submit application fee through challan slip in SBI.


Educational Qualification – Matriculation and ITI from Govt. Recognized Institute.
