Delhi Hosts National Street Food Festival from 11 to 13 Dec. 2015
Nothing excites you more than scrumptious street food!! And, if it’s Delhi’s street food, then your mouth gets filled with water. Today, we are introducing you the same street food festival, which is conducted in the capital at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from 11 to 13 December 2015. Whenever, anyone asks me, what are the things to do in Delhi, I always suggest to “taste the Delhi street food”, that comes in one of the top 5 recommendations.
This National Street Food Festival (NSFF), which is now in its seventh edition displays varieties of street food along with the culinary style of the chefs from across the country and the world. Visitors can enjoy a buffet of over 300 items to sample from 26 states. It is organized by the National Association of Street Vendors of India (Nasvi), where world-renowned chef Sanjeev Kapoor and many other celebrity chefs will also be there to promote the depth and diversity of the India’s street food, NSFF 2015.
Mr. Arbind Singh, the national coordinator of the festival said,
“The festival program has been designed to both highlight the range of flavours that inspire India’s menus, drawn from the cuisines and hospitality, an increasingly important element of our tourism offer”.
Throwing light on the participants, Fatima, who sells Fish Pakora and Chicken in Kombai, Tamil Nadu, which is very famous among the Delhi audience. This event is also a golden chance for many to increase their business. Apart from delicacies, street performers have also been invited to the event, including the Bioscope, singers, roadside magic shows and many others.
