A 16-kg Cookbook by Chef Vikas Khanna to display at Cannes Film Festival
“Utsav- A culinary epic of Indian festivals”, a 16-kg book by the popular chef of India, Vikas Khanna, based on the festivals and rituals of Indian Communities will be first time displayed at the Cannes International Film Festival, starts from 13 May, 2015.
The book will be shown on 17 May, 2015 during the festival and later on, he will get its 12 copies signature by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and which he will be gifted to the world leaders. The first book of him will go to Narendra Modi as he is representing the Indian crown right now and after that, the book will give to every honouree.
The book will be launched worldwide on Diwali this year. The range will be started from INR 8 lakh, the first few books are written with a pure gold, which is published by Bloomsbury Publishing. It contains approx 1, 200 large pages and in comparison regular pages, it would be approx 3,000 pages.
The book comprises of 1,000 recipes from 70 Indian festivals with new innovation in the dishes. It is an ambition of Vikas Khanna that will surely gain a great success.
