Indian Coast Guard is the authority which governs the coastal security. It was established in 1978 and currently, it is the fourth security and defense system of the country. Initially it was known for the union armed force which is also abbreviated as CISF, BSF and ITBP. It runs directly under the influence of Ministry of defense.

Indian Coast Guard is seeking new candidates for their department. They are recruiting for the post of Motor Transport Driver over 13 seats. The basic pay scale offered for this job will be Rs. 5200 – 20200/-. The candidates must be a matriculation pass from recognized board and should have a valid driving license. They should also have an experience of 2 years in driving motor vehicles. The forms filled in prescribed format must be sent to the commander’s office by 25th March 2014.
