National Institute of Rural Development is a government autonomous organization which is responsible for providing one year PGDRDM course. It comes under the ministry of rural development and committed towards providing training to candidates which will handle cases related to rural region. This firm was earlier named as National Institute of Community Development (NICD) which was formed after the merger of Central Institute of Study and Research in Community Development, Mussoorie and Trainers Training Institute at Rajpur.
NIRD is now recruiting candidates for the post of Assistant Professor. Total number of seats for is 12 for which OBC, SC and general candidates will have 3, 1 and 8 seats respectively. Pay scale for the same is Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100. Age is not an issue for post. Qualification required for the same is Ph.D with Master’s degree in any technical branch with minimum 55% marks and teaching experience of 2 years in a recognized university. Last date of application of through offline mode is 10th February 2014.
